Screening of the Spanish film "Thesis/Tesis" (1995/125min), directed by Alejandro Amenabar. Angela is working on a thesis about audiovisual violence. Figueroa, her thesis supervisor, accidentally discovers a film and is found dead the following morning. Angela and one of her classmates, Chema, decide to get a hold of the videotape, only to discover that it contains a snuff film in which a woman is tortured and killed. An unknown and dangerous audiovisual universe opens up to them. Angela could be the target of the next snuff movie.
